How to upload and protect a document
Go to Upload, sign in to your account, then drag and drop your file (PDF, image, or text). The system will compute a cryptographic fingerprint, embed a holographic stamp, and generate your .pvf file in seconds. You can then download or share the protected document.
Understanding your PVF stamp
The PVF stamp is an animated holographic element embedded in every protected document. When the stamp rotates with green waves, the document is verified as authentic. If the stamp freezes and turns red, it means the document has been tampered with. Learn more on our demo page.
Customizing your stamp (logo, colors, waves)
Pro and Enterprise users can customize the verification stamp with their organization's logo, brand colors, and wave patterns. Go to your Dashboard and navigate to the "My Stamp" section to configure your branding. Changes apply to all future documents automatically.
Sharing encrypted documents (Zero-Knowledge)
Vertifile uses BLIND processing, meaning the server never reads or stores your document content. When you share a .pvf file, only the cryptographic fingerprint is verified server-side. The document content remains encrypted and visible only to the recipient who opens the file in their browser.
Verifying a document's authenticity
To verify a document, go to Verify and drag the .pvf file into the upload zone. The system will check the cryptographic signature against the blockchain registry. A green spinning stamp means authentic; a frozen red stamp means the document was tampered with.
Managing your account and settings
Access your account settings from the Dashboard. You can update your profile, change your password, manage your subscription plan, view usage statistics, and configure API keys. Enterprise users can also manage team members and organization settings.
API integration guide
Integrate Vertifile into your application using our REST API. Send a POST request to /api/create-pvf with your API key and file to protect. See the full API documentation for endpoints, authentication, rate limits, and code examples.
